Ochranná mriežka pre prítomnostný detektor, busch jaeger 6898 (MPN 2CKA006899A2304)

The Protective Guard for Presence Detector by busch jaeger is an accessory engineered for the presence detector model 6898. It provides a physical barrier around the sensor element to reduce the risk of accidental impact, contact or contamination while maintaining the detector’s ability to sense motion and presence. The guard is intended for indoor installations where additional mechanical protection is required without altering detection performance or mounting configuration.

Advantages

The protective guard preserves sensor functionality by allowing unobstructed detection through its design while preventing direct touch and minor impacts. Its construction supports straightforward attachment to the detector housing and is compatible with standard indoor mounting conditions. The guard minimizes maintenance caused by physical damage and helps extend the operating life of the presence detector without changing detection sensitivity or coverage.

Key specifications

How to use

Fit the protective guard over the presence detector following the manufacturer’s mounting orientation. Ensure the guard aligns with the detector housing and secures using the provided attachment points or fasteners. After installation, perform a basic functional check of the presence detector to confirm detection coverage and sensitivity remain as expected. If the guard restricts access to adjustment controls, complete any required sensor configuration prior to installation.

Recommendations

Install the guard in environments where physical protection is needed but maintain periodic functional checks of the presence detector. Avoid painting or modifying the guard surface, and follow busch jaeger guidance for cleaning using a soft, dry cloth to prevent abrasion or blockage of the sensor field.
