Čajová kanvica BODUM Assam Single 500 ml — čierna rukoväť, transparentné sklo

BODUM Assam Single 500 ml is a single-serving teapot designed for brewing and serving tea with clear visibility of the infusion. The teapot has a transparent glass body that resembles borosilicate glass and a black handle and lid for comfortable handling. Its compact dimensions — width 210 mm, depth 100 mm and height 160 mm — make it suitable for home kitchens, small offices and table service where a single portion is required. The built-in stainless-steel mesh filter and plunger mechanism allow you to steep loose-leaf tea and stop the infusion without removing the filter, so pouring continues without additional sediment.

Advantages

The transparent glass body shows infusion colour and strength during brewing, enabling precise control over steeping time and visual presentation. The plunger and fine mesh filter reduce leaf escape into the poured cup, while the integrated lid and black handle offer safe and easy pouring. The compact 500 ml capacity is suitable for individual servings or for sharing two small cups, and the teapot’s dimensions keep it convenient to store and place on a table without occupying excessive space.

Suitable for

• Brewing single servings of loose-leaf or bagged tea
• Desk or small-office tea service
• Home use where visual control of infusion colour is preferred
• Serving one to two small cups at a time

Key specifications

• Capacity: 500 ml (single-serving)
• Body material: transparent glass (borosilicate-style)
• Handle and lid colour: black
• Filter type: built-in fine mesh plunger filter
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 210 mm × 100 mm × 160 mm
• Designed use: brewing and serving tea

How to use

Boil fresh water and add the desired amount to the teapot over the loose tea leaves or tea bag placed in the filter. Allow the tea to steep for 3–4 minutes or to taste. Press down the plunger to stop the infusion and retain leaves in the filter; then pour directly from the spout. The filter remains in place, so there is no need to remove it after brewing. Rinse the teapot, plunger and filter under warm water after use and allow to dry before storage.

Recommendations

To preserve clarity and longevity, avoid sudden temperature shocks to the glass (for example, do not pour boiling water into a chilled teapot). Use moderate steeping times appropriate to the tea type and clean the mesh filter regularly to prevent clogging.
