After installation, run any recommended nozzle checks or print head alignment routines to confirm proper ink flow and color registration before beginning production printing.

Recommendations

Store unopened cartridges in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and use opened cartridges promptly to avoid prolonged exposure. Use genuine Canon inks and perform regular maintenance checks—such as nozzle checks and print head cleanings—to maintain consistent photo-quality output and prevent clogs or color shifts.
