Ceruzka Staedtler Mars Lumograph Jumbo Multi 5 ks

The Staedtler Mars Lumograph Jumbo Multi 5 pcs set contains five hexagonal jumbo pencils with a 5.3 mm lead diameter, designed for drawing, sketching and shading. Manufactured in Germany, these pencils provide a range of hardness levels in one pack to support different drawing techniques. The pencils have a blue lacquer finish and come in blister packaging for convenient storage and transport.

Advantages

These jumbo pencils combine robust, break-resistant leads with a comfortable hexagonal shape that prevents rolling and improves grip during extended use. The 5.3 mm lead enables broad stroke coverage and smooth tonal transitions while allowing for fine detail when sharpened. The multi-hardness set offers versatility for artists who need both soft and hard grades in a single kit, and the German manufacturing ensures consistent quality and material standards.

Suitable for

• Sketching and figure drawing
• Shading and tonal work in illustrations
• School art classes and student practice
• Drafting rough layouts and design studies
• Mixed-media preliminary sketches

Key specifications

• Number of pencils: 5
• Lead diameter: 5.3 mm (jumbo)
• Shape: hexagonal barrel
• Finish: blue lacquer
• Hardness: multiple hardness grades included (multi-hardness set)
• Packaging: blister pack for storage and portability
• Country of manufacture: Germany

How to use

Select the appropriate hardness for the intended drawing task: softer leads for darker, richer shading and harder leads for fine lines and precise contours. Sharpen the pencil with a jumbo-compatible sharpener or a craft knife to achieve the desired tip width. Use broader strokes for area coverage and rotate the pencil slightly when shading to maintain an even wear pattern. Combine different hardnesses within the set to build depth, texture and contrast in sketches and finished drawings.

Recommendations

Store the pencils in their blister pack when not in use to protect leads from damage. For extended drawing sessions, alternate between pencil grades and rest the hand to reduce fatigue. When sharpening, use a sharpener designed for thicker leads to avoid breakage; for precision work consider trimming the wood with a craft knife for a controlled, long point.
