Chladiace príslušenstvo k racku Rittal 3171.105 – vláknitý materiál, 173 × 17 × 173 mm

Rittal 3171.105 rack cooling equipment is a compact filter element made of chopped-fibre mat with a progressive structure, sized 173 × 17 × 173 mm for straightforward integration into server and network racks. The material is temperature-resistant up to 100°C and classified self-extinguishing F1 to DIN 53 438. The filter presents an open structure on the dust-laden air side and a closed structure on the clean-air side, providing reliable filtration of particles from 10 µm and larger while fitting enclosures and distribution cabinets that accept the stated dimensions.

Advantages

The progressive chopped-fibre construction delivers effective dust capture while maintaining airflow where compact cooling components are required. Temperature resistance to 100°C and F1 self-extinguishing classification increase safety under elevated thermal conditions. The asymmetrical structure — open on the dust-laden side and closed on the clean-air side — reduces particle penetration into the cabinet while simplifying maintenance and replacement. Its compact rectangular format is compatible with rack systems and distribution enclosures that accommodate the specified size.

How to use

Install the Rittal 3171.105 filter in the rack or enclosure at the designated filter holder or intake position, ensuring the open-structure side faces the incoming dust-laden airflow and the closed-structure side faces the cabinet interior. Confirm dimensions before installation to ensure proper fit. Replace the element when pressure drop increases noticeably or at regular maintenance intervals determined by site-specific contamination levels. Dispose of used filter material according to local waste regulations.

Recommendations

For consistent airflow and cooling performance, inspect the filter periodically and schedule replacements based on observed dust load and system temperature. Avoid exposure to direct flames or prolonged contact with sources above 100°C despite the F1 rating. Use in rack systems that accommodate the specified 173 × 17 × 173 mm element to ensure proper sealing and filtration efficiency.
