Chladiaci ventilátor CPU HP 738685-001 pre EliteBook 820 G1 / Compaq 650 / 340 G1

Replacement CPU cooling fan for HP laptops compatible with EliteBook 820 G1, Compaq 650 and 340 G1. This fan assembly restores processor airflow and heat dissipation in systems that suffer from overheating, excessive fan noise or cooling malfunctions, and is intended as a direct spare part for the laptop cooling system.

Advantages

The fan assembly is designed to match original cooling performance and fit the specified HP and Compaq models. It helps reduce operating temperature and can eliminate abnormal fan noise caused by worn or failing fans. As a dedicated replacement part, it enables straightforward restoration of the laptop's thermal management without requiring full heatsink replacement.

Suitable for

• HP EliteBook 820 G1 laptop owners needing a replacement CPU fan
• Compaq 650 and Compaq 340 G1 users experiencing overheating or loud fan noise
• Repair shops and technicians performing laptop thermal maintenance

When it may not be suitable

This fan assembly is intended specifically for the listed laptop models; it may not fit other HP or third-party notebooks. If the cooling problem is caused by a damaged heatsink, dried thermal paste, or motherboard issues, replacing only the fan may not fully resolve thermal faults.

Key specifications

• Function: CPU cooling fan assembly for laptop processors
• Compatibility: Designed for HP EliteBook 820 G1, Compaq 650, Compaq 340 G1
• Form factor: Laptop internal fan module compatible with specified models
• Cooling purpose: Restores airflow and heat dissipation for the CPU area

How to use

Power down the laptop, disconnect the battery and follow the manufacturer's disassembly instructions to access the cooling assembly. Remove the old fan module, clean surrounding dust from the heatsink and vents, and install the replacement fan so it aligns with mounting points and the connector. Reapply thermal interface material to the CPU if the heatsink is removed, reassemble the laptop and test for normal fan operation and temperatures.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm your laptop model is HP EliteBook 820 G1, Compaq 650 or Compaq 340 G1
• Check whether the issue is isolated to the fan or involves the heatsink, thermal paste or motherboard
• Ensure you have the tools and basic repair skills or professional help for internal laptop replacement

Recommendations

After installation, run a stress test or monitor CPU temperatures to verify effective cooling. Periodically clean vents and fans to maintain airflow and extend the lifespan of the replacement fan.
