NATEC Tern 2 Plus is a laptop cooler pad designed for notebooks with screens up to 17.3". The cooler combines an aluminum top surface and plastic frame in a black finish to provide a stable, lightweight platform with active cooling from two fans. Its compact dimensions (approx. 375 × 285 × 55 mm) and net weight of 0.70 kg make it portable for use with gaming laptops, workstations and everyday notebooks. The unit does not include an embedded battery and is covered by a 24-month warranty.

Advantages

The dual-fan design improves airflow beneath the laptop to help reduce operating temperatures and limit thermal throttling during extended use. The aluminum surface aids heat dissipation while the plastic frame keeps the overall weight low. Its size accommodates laptops up to 17.3", offering firm support and consistent fan performance powered via a standard USB connection. Packaging and construction are optimized for transport and storage.

How to use

Place the NATEC Tern 2 Plus on a flat, stable surface and position your laptop centrally on the cooler so that the device’s air inlets align with the fan area. Connect the cooler to your laptop or a USB power source using the supplied cable; the fans will start and provide immediate airflow beneath the chassis. Adjust laptop placement as needed to ensure stable contact with the pad and unobstructed ventilation. When finished, disconnect the USB cable and store the cooler in a dry place.

Recommendations

For effective cooling, ensure vents on the laptop and the fan openings on the cooler remain free of dust and obstructions. Use the cooler on a hard, level surface rather than on soft materials that can block airflow. Regularly check and clean the fans and aluminum surface to maintain performance; compliance with the 24-month warranty conditions requires following basic care guidelines.
