Čistiaca špirála na potrubie Rothenberger 72412 — dĺžka 7,5 m, priemer 8 mm

The Rothenberger 72412 drain cleaning cable is a 7.5 m long, 8 mm diameter flexible cable designed for manual and compatible powered drain-cleaning tools. It is intended for clearing clogs in household drains, sinks, showers and small-diameter pipes. The cable balances flexibility to navigate bends with sufficient stiffness to push through and break apart hair, soap scum and soft debris, helping restore normal flow without relying on chemical cleaners.

Advantages

The cable’s 8 mm thickness offers compatibility with a wide range of domestic drain-cleaning tools and fits into narrow trap and pipe sections. Its 7.5 m length allows access to blockages located several metres from the fixture while remaining compact enough for storage. The flexible construction reduces the risk of pipe damage when used correctly, and the mechanical action removes obstructions rather than relying on corrosive agents. The product’s straightforward design enables quick replacement and straightforward use by professionals and homeowners.

Suitable for

• Clearing blockages in sink and washbasin drains
• Removing hair and soap residue from shower and bathtub drains
• Unblocking small-diameter branch pipes and traps
• Use with manual hand-drums and compatible powered drain-cleaning tools

Key specifications

• Length: 7.5 metres
• Diameter: 8 millimetres
• Construction: flexible steel cable suitable for bending around pipe curves
• Compatibility: designed for tools that accept 8 mm flexible drain cables
• Intended use: mechanical removal of soft debris, hair and soap deposits

How to use

Insert the cable into the drain or access point and advance it by hand or using a compatible manual drum or powered unit until resistance from the blockage is felt. Apply controlled forward and backward motion and rotate the cable where appropriate to entangle and break up material. Withdraw the cable periodically to remove collected debris and inspect progress. After clearing the obstruction, flush the drain with water to verify restored flow. Observe the instructions of the drain-cleaning tool used and take care not to force the cable beyond pipe restrictions.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Avoid using the cable in highly corroded or fragile pipes to prevent damage. For persistent or inaccessible blockages, or where pipe integrity is uncertain, consult a professional plumber.
