Gold‑plated contacts improve connector durability and contact reliability. The cable’s black jacket and standard HDMI Type A connectors make it compatible with most HDMI devices.

Ensure both ends are securely inserted; power on devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If necessary, verify device settings for resolution and audio output.

Recommendations

For best results, use quality HDMI cables between source devices and the extension. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks in the cable; keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. This extension is designed for HDMI 1.4 environments and supports HDCP 1.3 — confirm compatibility with source and display devices if using newer HDMI features.
