Dahua Technology CS4228-24GT-240 sieťový switch Managed L2 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) čierny

The Dahua Technology CS4228-24GT-240 is a managed Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch with 26 ports, including two SFP slots and integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE). With a switching capacity of 56 Gbps and a PoE power budget of 240 Watts, this black rack-mountable unit is designed for small to medium network deployments requiring centralized power delivery to connected devices and efficient traffic handling.

Advantages

The switch provides full Gigabit connectivity on all RJ-45 ports, supports multiple IEEE networking standards (including 802.3af/at/bt for PoE), and incorporates an internal power supply for reliable PoE delivery. Its forwarding rate and switching capacity support concurrent data flows, while the two SFP slots enable fiber uplinks or longer-distance connections. The managed L2 feature set enables VLANs, traffic control and other network management functions suitable for professional installations.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business LANs
• IP camera and video surveillance systems requiring PoE
• Wireless access point deployments with centralized PoE
• Edge aggregation with fiber uplink via SFP modules

How to use

Install the CS4228-24GT-240 in a standard 19" rack or on a flat surface, connect uplink fiber or copper interfaces via SFP or RJ-45 ports, and attach PoE-powered devices such as IP cameras or access points to the Gigabit ports. Access the switch’s management interface through the console, web GUI or supported management protocols to configure VLANs, PoE schedules and traffic policies. Ensure adequate ventilation around the chassis and follow local electrical codes when connecting the integrated power supply.

Recommendations

For stable PoE performance, calculate the total power draw of connected devices and ensure it does not exceed the 240 W PoE budget; distribute high-power devices across ports and, when required, use fiber uplinks via the SFP slots to separate heavy traffic from access segments.
