Datacolor Color Reader prenosný kolorimeter CRP100 pre presné meranie farieb

Datacolor Color Reader portable colorimeter CRP100 is a compact measurement tool designed to deliver consistent, objective color readings across a variety of surfaces. The device helps translate visual color perception into numeric values for paint, textiles, plastics and other materials, enabling accurate color communication and repeatable shade matching in production, retail, quality control and DIY projects.

Advantages

The Color Reader provides repeatable measurements with a user-friendly handheld design that fits into workshop or on-site workflows. Its compact form factor and straightforward operation reduce the need for subjective visual comparison, while delivering numerical color data suitable for quality checks and color matching tasks. The device supports faster decision-making during color selection and verification and helps minimise rework caused by color variation.

Suitable for

• Paint shade identification and matching
• Textile color verification in production and retail
• Plastic parts color control during assembly
• Interior design, DIY and refurbishment projects

Key specifications

• Handheld portable colorimeter for spot measurements
• Designed for use on paints, textiles, plastics and similar opaque surfaces
• Provides objective numeric color values for color communication and matching
• Compact, ergonomic housing suitable for field and workshop use
• Simple operation intended for professional and hobbyist users

How to use

Place the Color Reader flat against the surface to be measured and initiate a reading according to the device controls. Ensure the measured area is clean, flat and free of glare for best results. Take multiple measurements across the sample to check for color uniformity; compare the numeric results to reference values or use them to find matching color formulations. Follow any device-specific calibration or charging instructions supplied by the manufacturer to maintain measurement accuracy.

Recommendations

For consistent results, measure on a neutral, well-lit background and avoid measuring through protective films or coatings. When matching colors across materials, measure each substrate individually and document numeric readings to aid reproducibility and quality control.
