Always use a compatible external antenna to ensure reliable communication range. When charging, make sure the radio is seated properly in the cradle to avoid charging interruptions. The LED indicators will show power and charging status at a glance—green for power, red for charging, and off when complete. Keep the unit clean and free of dust to maintain good electrical contacts.
