DeLOCK aktívny optický kábel USB 10 Gbps Type-A konektor samec na Type-C konektor samec 15 m

This DeLOCK active optical cable connects devices with a USB Type-C connector to a PC or laptop with a free USB Type-A port. The Type-C connector is secured with screws to prevent accidental disconnection. The cable uses optical fiber to transmit high-speed USB signals over long distances without significant loss, while its NBR jacket provides flexibility and durability suitable for demanding environments.

Advantages

The active optical design enables data transmission over 15 m with reduced signal attenuation compared to copper cables. The cable is thinner, lighter and more flexible than equivalent copper cables, and the NBR jacket increases resistance to wear and mechanical stress. A screw-secured USB Type-C connector ensures a stable physical connection during use.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB Type-C devices to PCs or laptops with a Type-A port over long distances
• High-speed data transfer tasks requiring up to 10 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2)
• Environments where a flexible, durable cable is needed (e.g., equipment racks, cable chains)

How to use

Connect the USB Type-A end to an available USB port on your PC or laptop and fasten the screws on the Type-C connector to the device with a matching Type-C receptacle to secure the connection. Ensure both connected devices support the required USB version for the desired data rate; devices limited to USB 2.0 will operate at their native speeds. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to preserve the optical fiber and jacket integrity.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable with devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve up to 10 Gbps transfer speeds. Keep the cable free from tight bends and protect the connectors from dirt; if used in moving installations, verify compatibility with drag-chain motion and secure strain relief at attachment points.
