The DeLOCK D-Type Module USB 2.0 Type-A female to female in orange provides two USB 2.0 Type-A female connectors mounted in a D-type housing for installation in panels or cases with D-type openings. It enables integration of USB devices into professional or custom installations where a compact, panel-mounted USB pass-through is required, while the orange colour helps identify the connection point.

The D-type format allows secure mounting in panels or enclosures with corresponding cutouts, and the distinctive orange colour improves visual identification without affecting performance.

How to use

Install the module into a compatible D-type opening in a panel or enclosure and secure it according to the enclosure's mounting method. Connect USB cables or devices to the Type-A female ports on each side to create a panel-mounted USB 2.0 pass-through. Ensure cables are fully inserted and routed to avoid strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable data transfer, use USB 2.0-compatible cables and devices. Avoid exposing the module to excessive mechanical stress, moisture or temperatures outside the equipment's operating range. Verify panel cutout dimensions before installation to ensure proper fit.
