This HDMI extension cable supports Dynamic HDR and Dolby® Vision for improved colour depth, brightness and contrast reproduction. It provides a stable high-bandwidth link at 48 Gbps, is triple shielded to reduce interference, and includes eARC support for lossless, uncompressed audio transmission to compatible sound systems. Gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors ensure reliable contact and reduced corrosion.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI connections between TV and source devices
• Home cinema setups requiring up to 8K@60 Hz
• Gaming systems that need high refresh and high-resolution signals
• Connections with AV receivers or sound bars using eARC

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A end of the cable to the HDMI output of the source device (for example Blu-ray player, game console or media player) and the other end to the HDMI input on the display device (TV or monitor). For audio return using eARC, connect the display’s HDMI eARC port to the sound system’s HDMI eARC input and enable eARC in device settings if required. Ensure both connected devices support the desired resolution and features such as Dynamic HDR or Dolby® Vision.

Recommendations

To achieve the best performance at 8K@60 Hz and full eARC functionality, use devices and HDMI ports that explicitly support HDMI 2.1 features and keep cable runs as short as practical; avoid sharp bends and electromagnetic sources to reduce interference.
