DELOCK optická vláknová spojovacia skrinka 2 x SC/APC Simplex s 30 m G.657.A1 drop káblom set

The DELOCK Optical Fiber Connection Box with 2 x SC/APC Simplex adapters and a 30 m G.657.A1 drop cable set is a pre-assembled FTTH connection solution for wall or DIN-rail mounting. The unit provides housing for two SC/APC simplex connectors and includes a 30 metre bend-insensitive single-mode drop cable on a reel. Designed for indoor/outdoor drop runs and building installations, the box supports both splicing and patching of fiber links and offers strain relief and protected cable entry to the premises.

Advantages

This connection box is delivered pre-assembled with the drop cable already mounted, enabling faster installation and reduced on-site preparation. The use of bend-insensitive G.657.A1 fiber ensures reliable signal transmission in tight bend conditions common in FTTH installations. The enclosure supports secure connector housing, integrated strain relief and a controlled cable entry to protect connections during handling and operation.

Suitable for

• FTTH subscriber drop connections to an in-building distribution point
• Indoor/outdoor short-run drop cabling where bend-insensitive fiber is required
• Small building or apartment installations requiring two SC/APC simplex terminations
• Situations requiring wall or 35 mm DIN-rail mounting

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single-mode, bend-insensitive G.657.A1
• Drop cable length: 30 m
• Connector type: 2 × SC/APC simplex female
• Connector polish: APC (angled physical contact)
• Jacket material: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)
• Enclosure colour: white
• Mounting options: wall mounting and 35 mm DIN-rail (horizontal and vertical) compatibility

How to use

Mount the connection box to a flush-mounted or cavity wall box using the provided mounting openings or clip it onto a 35 mm DIN rail in horizontal or vertical orientation. Pull the pre-wound drop cable from the reel to the desired routing point and secure the cable with the integrated strain relief inside the enclosure. Terminate or splice incoming feeder fibers to the two SC/APC simplex connectors as required, then close the enclosure to protect the connections from mechanical stress and dust. Verify optical continuity and signal levels after installation using appropriate test equipment.

Recommendations

Handle SC/APC connectors carefully to keep endfaces clean and undamaged; use appropriate dust caps when connectors are not mated. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and follow bend radius recommendations for G.657.A1 fiber. Perform post-installation testing (visual inspection, insertion loss and return loss where applicable) to confirm link performance.
