DeLOCK optický rozbočovač 6 portov IP55 vodotesný sivý

This lockable distribution box by Delock is a wall-mountable protective enclosure for fibre optic cables and couplings. It accepts up to six SC Duplex or LC Quad couplings and is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations. Constructed from durable ABS, the unit has compact dimensions (193 × 269 × 60 mm) and supports cable diameters from 2 mm. The housing is rated IP55 for dust and splash protection.

Advantages

The integrated splice cassette provides organised routing of individual fibres and supports mechanical and fusion splicing, reducing signal loss and simplifying maintenance. Multiple cable glands with interchangeable sealing inserts enable reliable sealing for different cable diameters and enhance protection against dirt and moisture. The lockable design secures fibre connections and prevents unauthorised access.

How to use

Mount the distribution box on a suitable wall surface using appropriate fixings. Route incoming and outgoing fibre cables through the PG21 and PG13.5 cable glands and fit the correct sealing inserts for the cable diameters. Place fibres into the integrated splice cassette and perform mechanical or fusion splices as required. Install SC Duplex or LC Quad couplings into the front ports, secure the lid, and lock the enclosure to protect the connections.

Recommendations

For reliable outdoor performance, verify gland seals after installation and choose the correct sealing inserts for each cable. Avoid exposing the enclosure to direct water jets and perform periodic inspections to ensure seals and splices remain intact.
