Detektor pohybu Steinel IS 3360‑E KNX AP V3 058166 IP54 360° snímanie

The Steinel IS 3360‑E KNX AP V3 is a surface-mounted KNX motion sensor offering 360° detection and IP54 protection for reliable presence and movement detection in both indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Designed for integration into building automation systems, this sensor communicates over KNX to control lighting and HVAC systems based on occupancy. The compact design and wide sensor coverage allow installation on ceilings or walls where robust, automated control is needed for energy-efficient operation and occupant comfort.

Advantages

The IS 3360‑E KNX AP V3 provides full 360° detection range combined with IP54 ingress protection, making it suitable for dust-prone or damp indoor locations and sheltered outdoor areas. KNX compatibility ensures smooth integration with existing building automation networks, enabling centralized control of lighting and climate systems. Its surface-mounted form factor simplifies installation without requiring flush mounting. The sensor is tuned for reliable presence detection to reduce false triggers while supporting occupancy-based energy savings and automated comfort control.

Suitable for

• Ceilings and walls in offices and conference rooms
• Corridors, stairwells and lobbies
• Retail areas and hotel common spaces
• Sheltered exterior entrances and covered walkways

Key specifications

• Detection angle: 360° coverage
• Protection rating: IP54 (splash and dust protected)
• Mounting: surface-mounted for ceiling or wall installation
• Interface: KNX communication for building automation integration
• Detection type: presence and motion detection for occupancy control

How to use

Mount the sensor to a suitable ceiling or wall surface at the recommended height and orientation to achieve full 360° coverage. Connect the device to the KNX bus according to the installation project's wiring plan and configure parameters via the KNX commissioning tools to define detection sensitivity, presence thresholds and output behaviors. After commissioning, verify detection zones by walking through the coverage area and adjust orientation or configuration settings as required to ensure reliable response for lighting and HVAC control.

Recommendations

For accurate detection and minimized false positives, avoid installing the sensor directly opposite large glass surfaces exposed to external movement and position it away from heat sources such as direct sunlight or ventilation outlets. Use KNX configuration to fine-tune presence detection timeouts and sensitivity for the specific room type and occupancy pattern.
