DIGITUS inštalačný kábel - CAT6 - U/UTP - AWG 23/1 - 305 m - fialový

The Digitus Cat.6 U/UTP installation cable, 305 m long and violet in colour, meets Cat6 standards for structured cabling in data centres and buildings. It is designed for reliable transmission of analog and digital signals and complies with ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50288-6-1, DIN EN 50173 and IEC 60332-1. The cable supports Gigabit Ethernet (1 GBit) and Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+), and is classified under CPR class Eca with GHMT certification.

Advantages

The U/UTP design reduces external electromagnetic interference while keeping the cable construction simple and cost-effective. A transmission frequency of up to 250 MHz and Cat6 compliance allow stable 10/100/1000Base-T(X) performance for common network applications. The 305 m reel length is suitable for long runs in structured installations, and PoE support enables simultaneous power and data delivery to compatible devices.

Suitable for

• Structured building cabling and data centre horizontal runs
• Gigabit Ethernet networks (1 GBit)
• Applications requiring PoE or PoE+ power delivery (IP cameras, access points, VoIP phones)
• Long installation runs using a 305 m reel

How to use

Route the cable through cable trays, conduits or installation channels according to local building and fire codes. Terminate both ends with compatible RJ45 keystone jacks or patch panels rated for Cat6 performance, following standard wiring schemes (T568A or T568B). Maintain proper bend radius and avoid excessive pulling force during installation to preserve transmission characteristics.

Recommendations

For best performance, use certified Cat6 connectors and installers should test each run with a suitable network cable tester to verify wire mapping, attenuation and near-end crosstalk (NEXT). Keep separation from high-voltage power lines to minimise interference and follow CPR and local regulations when installing in permanent building structures.
