DisplayPort kábel ROLINE DP M - DVI M 5 m

The ROLINE DisplayPort Cable DP M - DVI M, 5 m, provides a direct digital connection between a source device with DisplayPort output and a DVI input display. The cable supports DisplayPort v1.1 compliance and transmits high-quality video signals for monitor and home-theater setups. Note that this adapter cable is unidirectional: the DisplayPort plug must be connected to the source (for example, a graphics card).

Advantages

This 5 m ROLINE cable combines a DisplayPort male connector with a DVI male connector to deliver reliable digital video transmission over a single cable. Its DisplayPort v1.1 compliance ensures compatibility with devices that support the standard, while the fixed cable format avoids the need for separate adapters. The cable is finished in black and is intended for straightforward point-to-point connections between a DisplayPort source and a DVI monitor.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop with DisplayPort output to a monitor with DVI input
• Extending an existing display setup where a DVI monitor is used with a DisplayPort-equipped source
• Home-theater or office environments requiring a simple DP-to-DVI video link

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Connector 1: DisplayPort (male)
• Connector 2: DVI (male)
• Standard: DisplayPort v1.1 compliant
• Colour: Black
• Brand: ROLINE, MPN: 11.04.5612, EAN: 7611990186341

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the cable to the source device (for example, a graphics card or laptop DisplayPort output) and the DVI end to the monitor's DVI input. Power on both devices and select the appropriate input on the display if needed. Because the cable is unidirectional, do not attempt to connect it with the DVI end to the source and the DisplayPort end to the monitor.

Recommendations

Use this cable for video signals only; DVI connectors on the monitor side typically do not carry audio. Verify that your source supports output via DisplayPort and that the target display accepts DVI input. For bidirectional or active conversion (e.g., DVI source to DisplayPort monitor) use an active converter designed for that direction.
