DisplayPort na DVI adaptér Lenovo 5C10V06000 — DisplayPort (konektor samec) na DVI-D (konektor samica) pasívny dongle

Lenovo 5C10V06000 is a compact DisplayPort to DVI adapter designed to convert a DisplayPort output to a DVI‑D input. The adapter provides a passive, video-only link that enables connection of a DisplayPort-equipped computer or laptop to a monitor, projector or KVM switch with a DVI‑D input. Its small dongle form factor is intended for simple, space-saving setups in office or home environments where a direct DVI connection is required.

Advantages

The passive DisplayPort to DVI adapter offers plug-and-play operation without additional drivers and supports single-link DVI resolutions common to many monitors. Its compact build minimizes desk clutter and is easy to carry with a laptop. The adapter maintains a digital video path for DVI‑D capable displays and is compatible with graphics outputs that support dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++).

Suitable for

• Connecting a DisplayPort laptop or desktop to a DVI‑D monitor
• Using a DisplayPort source with a DVI‑D input on projectors
• Integrating older DVI‑D displays into modern DisplayPort-based workstations or KVM setups

Key specifications

• Connector A: DisplayPort (male)
• Connector B: DVI‑D (female), digital signal only
• Conversion type: passive (requires DP++ on source)
• Supported signal: digital video only (no analog DVI‑A or VGA)
• Typical supported resolution: single-link DVI up to 1920×1200@60Hz (dependent on source and display)
• Form factor: compact dongle

How to use

Insert the DisplayPort (male) end of the adapter into the DisplayPort output on your computer or other video source. Connect the DVI‑D cable from your monitor or display to the adapter's DVI‑D (female) connector. Ensure the source device supports dual‑mode DisplayPort (DP++), as this adapter performs passive conversion and does not convert analog signals. Once connected, select the DVI input on the display and configure the output resolution and refresh rate in the operating system if necessary.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality DVI‑D cable to minimize signal loss and verify that the graphics output supports DP++ for passive conversion. For resolutions higher than single-link DVI limits, consider an active DisplayPort-to-DVI/HDMI adapter or a native DisplayPort-capable display.
