DisplayPort na DVI-D adaptér Dell KKMYD — Single-Link DVI-D, podporuje rozlíšenia až do 1920 x 1200

Dell KKMYD is a passive DisplayPort to DVI‑D adapter that converts a DisplayPort video output into a single‑link DVI‑D signal supporting up to 1920×1200 resolution. The adapter enables connection of DVI‑only monitors, projectors or other DVI‑D displays to computers, docking stations or graphics cards with DisplayPort outputs. Its compact, lightweight construction and plug‑and‑play operation provide a straightforward way to integrate legacy DVI displays with modern DisplayPort sources without software installation.

Advantages

The adapter transmits a digital video signal without analog conversion, preserving image clarity on compatible DVI‑D panels. Its single‑link DVI‑D support ensures reliable operation at resolutions up to 1920×1200 and standard refresh rates. The passive design requires no external power or drivers and installs instantly when connected. Small form factor and durable connector housings make it convenient for portable setups and frequent cable changes.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI‑only monitor to a DisplayPort output on a laptop or desktop
• Using a DVI‑based projector with modern computers or docking stations
• Replacing an adapter in office or home workstation setups where single‑link DVI is sufficient

Key specifications

• Interface: DisplayPort (input) to DVI‑D single‑link (output)
• Maximum supported resolution: 1920 × 1200 (single‑link DVI‑D)
• Signal type: digital video (DVI‑D)
• Driver requirement: none (plug‑and‑play)
• Power: passive, no external power required
• Connector type: standard DisplayPort plug to DVI‑D receptacle

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the adapter to the DisplayPort output on your computer, docking station or graphics card. Plug a DVI‑D cable from the adapter into the DVI‑D input on the monitor or projector. Power on both devices and select the appropriate input on the display if necessary. The operating system should detect the external display automatically; adjust resolution and display arrangement in the system display settings to achieve the desired output up to 1920×1200.

Recommendations

Use a quality DVI‑D cable and ensure the connected display supports single‑link DVI‑D at the intended resolution. For resolutions above 1920×1200 or for dual‑link DVI requirements, choose an active converter or a different adapter that explicitly supports higher bandwidth. Avoid excessive bending of the adapter or strain on connectors to maintain reliable signal transmission.
