DisplayPort na HDMI kábel ShiverPeaks SP03-21055 5,0 m – pasívny video adaptér kábel

DisplayPort to HDMI Cable ShiverPeaks SP03-21055 5.0 m is a passive video adapter cable for wired connection between a device with DisplayPort output and an HDMI display. With a 5.0 metre length it enables flexible placement of computers, laptops or graphics cards relative to monitors, TVs or projectors while transmitting video signals and, when supported by the source, audio. The cable uses a passive conversion method suitable for sources that provide a dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++), allowing direct signal conversion without external power or active electronics.

Advantages

The cable provides a straightforward and durable connection for DisplayPort-to-HDMI setups, combining a long reach with a slim single-cable solution. Its passive design keeps power needs minimal and avoids additional adapters or power supplies when used with DP++ sources. The fixed HDMI and DisplayPort connectors reduce the number of separate components and simplify installation for home, office or presentation environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop with DisplayPort (DP++) output to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Extending cable reach where the display is positioned away from the source (up to 5.0 m)
• Presentations using a projector with HDMI input driven from a DisplayPort-equipped laptop
• Home multimedia setups where passive conversion of DisplayPort to HDMI is supported

Key specifications

• Connector type: DisplayPort (male) to HDMI (male)
• Cable length: 5.0 metres
• Design: passive (suitable for DP++ sources)
• Signal support: digital video; audio transmission supported when source provides audio over DisplayPort
• Usage: unidirectional — from DisplayPort source to HDMI display

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the cable to the DisplayPort output on the computer, laptop or graphics card and insert the HDMI end into the HDMI input of the monitor, TV or projector. Power on both devices and select the appropriate HDMI input on the display. If the source supports audio over DisplayPort, audio will be available through the HDMI display or speakers connected to it. No external power is required when used with a DP++ output; otherwise an active adapter is necessary.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, confirm that the DisplayPort source supports dual-mode (DP++) before use. Run the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid sharp bends or kinks. For resolutions or refresh rates beyond standard HDTV (for example high-resolution or high-refresh gaming displays), verify source and display capabilities as passive cables may be limited by device support.
