DSIT CAT 6 sieťový kábel LSOH - S/FTP - 50 metrov - čierny (DC-S60-500)

Running high-speed data through crowded cable trays or plenum spaces often means choosing between performance and safety. This DSIT CAT 6 S/FTP cable eliminates that compromise: it delivers reliable Gigabit Ethernet while its LSOH jacket minimizes smoke and toxic fumes in case of fire, making it suitable for offices, data centers, and public buildings where safety regulations are strict.

Who is it for

Network installers, IT administrators, and facility managers who need a dependable, future-ready horizontal or backbone cable for indoor installations. It is ideal for structured cabling systems, patch panel connections, and long runs up to 50 meters where signal integrity matters.

Main features

• Category 6 performance with S/FTP shielding: each pair is individually foiled and the overall cable is braided, providing excellent protection against alien crosstalk and EMI.
• LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket: emits very low smoke and no corrosive halogen gases when exposed to fire, meeting IEC 60332-1 safety standards.
• Solid copper conductors (23 AWG) ensure stable transmission over long distances and are suitable for punch-down terminations.
• Supports frequencies up to 250 MHz and data rates up to 1 Gigabit Ethernet over 100 meters (10GBASE-T over shorter distances).
• 100 Ohm impedance and compliance with TIA/EIA-568-C.2 and ISO/IEC 11801 guarantee interoperability with standard networking equipment.
• Black jacket blends into dark environments and resists dirt, making it a practical choice for visible cable runs.

Tips

When installing, avoid sharp bends that exceed the cable's minimum bend radius (typically 4x the outer diameter) to maintain performance. Use shielded RJ45 connectors and grounded patch panels to fully benefit from the S/FTP shielding. For outdoor or direct burial applications, consider a cable with a PE jacket instead.
