Duracell Basic D (R20) batéria — balenie 2 ks, primárne zinko-uhlíkové články

Duracell Basic D (R20) — pack of 2 are primary zinc‑carbon D‑size batteries intended for devices with low to moderate power demands. These single‑use cells provide the standard nominal voltage and straightforward performance expected from zinc‑carbon chemistry, fitting equipment such as torches, radios, basic toys and various household electronics where long-term high drain or rechargeable performance is not required.

Advantages

These Duracell Basic D batteries offer a cost‑effective power source with predictable discharge characteristics for short‑term or occasional use. The D‑size format provides a larger capacity than smaller cells in low‑drain applications, and the sealed construction reduces risk of leakage under normal use and storage conditions. Supplied as a pack of two, they are convenient for replacing paired cells in devices that require multiple D batteries.

Suitable for

• Flashlights and torches used sporadically around the home
• Portable radios and clock radios with low to moderate current draw
• Basic children’s toys and novelty devices
• Simple household electronics such as remote controls for older devices, lanterns, and certain kitchen gadgets

Key specifications

• Chemistry: zinc‑carbon (primary, non‑rechargeable)
• Size: D (also known as R20)
• Supply format: pack of 2 single‑use cells
• Nominal voltage: standard cell voltage for zinc‑carbon chemistry (per cell)
• Intended drain: low to moderate current applications
• Storage: sealed construction suitable for typical household storage

How to use

Insert each D battery into the device observing the polarity markings (+ and −) shown in the battery compartment. For devices that require multiple D cells, replace all batteries at the same time with a new pack to ensure even performance. Do not attempt to recharge these primary zinc‑carbon batteries; charging can cause leakage, rupture or other hazards. After use, remove depleted batteries and dispose of them according to local regulations for battery recycling and waste.

Recommendations

Store unused batteries at room temperature in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to high heat. For devices with high continuous current draw or when extended runtime is important, consider using alkaline or rechargeable alternatives; Duracell Basic D cells are suited for occasional or low‑drain applications.
