Use the device’s keypad and Hot Keys to create and format labels directly on the unit, or connect the labeler to a Windows PC and run Dymo ID software to design labels on a computer and download them to the printer. Select thermal transfer mode for durable, long-lasting labels when required, or direct thermal for quicker, simpler prints. Follow on-screen prompts to set label length, orientation and barcode options, then print and apply labels to cables, panels or terminals as needed.

Recommendations

For durable, outdoor or high-wear applications use thermal transfer mode with compatible tapes. When preparing multiple labels for the same site, create and download label sets from Dymo ID on a Windows 7 or later PC to speed up on-site labelling.
