Elektrické nožnice na živý plot Black & Decker BEHTS501

The Black & Decker BEHTS501 Electric Hedge Trimmer is an electric gardening tool designed for efficient trimming of large hedges and shrubs. It combines a 600W motor with a 60 cm dual-action blade to deliver steady cutting performance and a clean finish on branches up to 25 mm thick. The tool has an ergonomic two-handed grip and a transparent hand guard to improve control and visible safety while working in the garden.

Advantages

The 600W motor provides consistent power for continuous cutting across longer jobs, while the 60 cm blade increases cutting reach and reduces the number of passes needed. Dual-action blades help minimise vibration and produce a smoother cut. The two-handed grip improves balance and handling for safer operation, and the transparent hand guard maintains visibility of the cutting area. The trimmer is electric-powered, offering lower maintenance compared with petrol models and quieter operation suitable for residential use.

Suitable for

• Trimming large hedges and boundary shrubs
• Shaping formal hedges and topiary
• Cutting back overgrown branches up to 25 mm diameter
• Regular maintenance of garden hedgerows

Key specifications

• Motor power: 600 W
• Blade length: 60 cm
• Maximum cutting capacity: 25 mm
• Blade type: dual-action blade
• Handle: two-handed ergonomic grip
• Safety: transparent hand guard for improved visibility
• Power source: mains electric

How to use

Before use, check that the power cable and plug are intact and that the blade area is clear of debris. Hold the hedge trimmer with both hands on the specified grips, keeping the fingers away from the blade and the transparent hand guard between your hands and the cutting area. Start the motor while positioned at a safe distance from people and pets, and move the trimmer in smooth sweeping motions along the hedge, working from the base upwards or along the length of the hedge as required. For thicker branches approaching the 25 mm cutting capacity, reduce speed or make multiple light passes to avoid strain on the motor. After use, disconnect from the mains and clean the blade area; store the device in a dry place out of reach of children.

Recommendations

Wear suitable protective equipment, such as eye protection, gloves and sturdy footwear. Use both hands on the grips at all times and avoid operating the trimmer in wet conditions or during rain. Do not attempt to cut branches thicker than the specified 25 mm in a single pass. Keep the power cable clear of the cutting path and use an outdoor-rated extension cable if needed.
