Senzor vnútornej teploty a vlhkosti HomeMatic HmIP‑STH‑A antracit, bezdrôtový smart-home senzor

The HomeMatic HmIP‑STH‑A indoor temperature and humidity sensor in anthracite is a compact wireless device designed to monitor room climate parameters. It measures ambient temperature and relative humidity and transmits the readings wirelessly to a compatible HomeMatic IP hub. The sensor supports climate control, automated ventilation triggers and data logging within a smart home environment and fits visually into living rooms, bedrooms and utility areas.

Advantages

The sensor provides accurate temperature and humidity measurements with low power consumption and a discreet anthracite housing that blends with modern interiors. Wireless communication simplifies installation without the need for wiring, and integration with HomeMatic IP systems enables centralized automation and remote monitoring. Its compact size allows placement on shelves, tables or mounts while maintaining reliable transmission performance in typical domestic environments.

Suitable for

• Monitoring room temperature in living rooms and bedrooms
• Controlling heating and ventilation based on humidity and temperature
• Integrating into HomeMatic IP smart home automation scenarios
• Tracking climate in utility rooms, home offices and storage areas

Key specifications

• Measured values: ambient temperature and relative humidity
• Wireless communication: compatible with HomeMatic IP systems
• Power: battery‑operated for flexible placement
• Housing: anthracite finish, compact form factor
• Mounting: free‑standing or wall mountable in indoor locations

How to use

Place the HomeMatic HmIP‑STH‑A sensor in the room where climate monitoring is required, away from direct heat sources, radiators and windows to ensure representative readings. Insert the batteries and follow pairing instructions in the HomeMatic IP app or hub interface to add the device to your system. Once connected, configure measurement intervals and automation rules in the HomeMatic IP controller to trigger heating, ventilation or notifications based on temperature and humidity thresholds.

Recommendations

For reliable measurements, position the sensor at typical breathing height (about 1.5 m) and avoid placing it near doors or direct sunlight. Regularly check battery status in the HomeMatic IP app and replace batteries when prompted. Use the sensor data to create simple automation logic such as humidity‑based ventilation, frost protection for heating or multi‑room climate balancing when combined with other sensors.
