Teplotný a vlhkostný senzor Homematic IP HmIP-STHO-A – vonkajší, antracitový

The Homematic IP HmIP-STHO-A is an outdoor temperature and humidity sensor designed for integration into Homematic IP smart home systems. Housed in an antracit-coloured casing, the sensor records ambient temperature and relative humidity and transmits measured values to the Homematic IP ecosystem for automation, climate control and environmental logging. The device is intended for external installation and supplies continuous environmental data to connected controllers and apps.

Advantages

The sensor provides reliable ambient temperature and relative humidity measurement in outdoor locations and is compatible with Homematic IP systems for direct data use in automations. Its weather-resistant antracit housing is made for mounting on facades and outdoor structures, and wireless communication enables placement without complex wiring. Values are available for logging, visualization and use in climate control routines.

Suitable for

• Monitoring outdoor temperature near entrances, terraces and gardens
• Providing humidity data for climate-based automations and ventilation control
• Feeding environmental data to Homematic IP gateways for logging and scene triggers

Key specifications

• Measured parameters: ambient temperature and relative humidity
• Intended installation: outdoor / external mounting
• Housing finish: antracit (dark grey)
• Wireless integration: compatible with Homematic IP smart home ecosystem
• Application: environmental monitoring, climate control and data logging

How to use

Mount the Homematic IP HmIP-STHO-A in a sheltered outdoor location where it can accurately sense ambient conditions without direct exposure to heavy precipitation or strong sunlight. Pair the sensor with a Homematic IP gateway or compatible controller following the manufacturer's pairing procedure. Once connected, assign the sensor within the app or controller to the desired room or automation profile; measured temperature and humidity values will then be available for display, history logging and use in automation rules.

Recommendations

Place the sensor away from heat sources, exhaust vents and direct sunlight for representative readings. Regularly check the mounting and housing condition and follow the Homematic IP gateway instructions for firmware updates and battery replacement intervals to ensure continuous operation.
