EQUIP Cat.6 S/FTP patch kábel RJ-45 20 m oranžový

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 20 m orange network cable designed for structured cabling and point-to-point connections. Constructed from high-quality materials and fully tested to meet industry standards, this Cat.6 cable provides higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin for reliable performance in demanding network environments. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and S/FTP shielding for protection against electromagnetic interference, and supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact and good conductivity. The 20 m length offers flexibility for connections across racks, office floors, or between network devices. The orange colour improves visibility and simplifies cable identification in complex installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in LANs
• Office and data centre horizontal and vertical cabling
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router or network card) and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the patch panel or device. Ensure plugs are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain proper separation from power cables where possible to reduce interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP patch cable within structured cabling standards, avoid exceeding bend radius specified by the manufacturer, and inspect connectors for dust or damage before installation. For links longer than 20 m in backbone runs, consider appropriate switches or additional cabling designed for the required distance.
