EQUIP sieťový kábel Cat.6 S/FTP patch kábel RJ-45 15 m fialový

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 15 m network cable designed for reliable gigabit Ethernet connections. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure stable conductivity. The cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) and data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, and comes in a purple jacket for easy identification.

Advantages

The Cat.6 construction provides higher bandwidth and an improved signal-to-noise ratio compared with lower-category cables. S/FTP shielding adds protection against crosstalk and external interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 15 m length covers longer runs without additional extension hardware.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet networks (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Structured cabling in offices and server rooms
• Connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router, PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid kinking the cable, maintain bend radius greater than the cable diameter multiplied by four, and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines. Test links after installation using a network tester to verify continuity and performance up to gigabit speeds.
