Ethernetový kábel ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 1,5 m červený

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CU PVC Ethernet Cable is a durable 1.5 m network cable designed for reliable data transfer up to 1000 Mbit/s. It uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and U/UTP cabling technology to minimise interference. The cable is available in copper (CU) construction, features strain relief and snagless latch protection, and comes in a red PVC jacket for easy identification.

Advantages

The ProXtend CAT5e cable offers reinforced strain relief and snagless latch protection to reduce connector damage and improve longevity. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide stable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. U/UTP construction helps limit electromagnetic interference, and the PVC outer jacket provides mechanical protection while keeping the cable flexible.

Suitable for

• Home network connections (routers, switches, PCs)
• Office LAN installations and patch panels
• Connecting network devices requiring up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Temporary or permanent cabling where a visible red cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Length: 1.5 m
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold plated
• Cabling: CAT5e U/UTP (copper CU)
• Outer material: PVC
• Colour: Red
• Weight: 0.071 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (router, switch or network card) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors fully click into place with the snagless latch engaged. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and high-tension points; use cable clips or ties as needed to secure it without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle curves rather than tight bends. Use the copper (CU) variant for best conductivity and replace the cable if connector plating or jacket shows visible wear.
