EUROLITE LED end caps model 51914186 are IP65-rated end fittings designed to seal and finish LED profiles and strip installations. These DMX-compatible caps are intended to protect connections and cable terminations from dust and water spray, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications where a sealed, weather-resistant finish is required. The product integrates with LED housings to maintain performance and prevent ingress that could affect lighting components.

Advantages

These end caps provide certified IP65 protection to reduce the risk of moisture and dust entering LED profiles or strip channels. Compatibility with DMX systems preserves signal integrity at sealed terminations, while the construction material and form factor simplify installation and create a neat, finished appearance. How to use

Place the end cap onto the open end of the LED profile or strip channel so that the cap fully covers the termination area and any exposed cable or connectors. Ensure mating surfaces are clean and free of debris before fitting. For DMX connections, route the signal cable through the cap's opening as required, and secure the cap according to the profile manufacturer's guidance to achieve the IP65 seal. Verify the seal by checking that the cap is flush and that any rubber gaskets or sealing elements are compressed evenly.

Recommendations

For reliable IP65 performance, inspect sealing elements regularly and replace any damaged caps or gaskets. Avoid excessive mechanical stress on routed cables at the sealed termination and follow DMX wiring best practices to preserve signal quality.
