Excentrická brúska Metabo SM 18 LTX BL Brushless 10000 RPM

The Metabo SM 18 LTX BL Brushless is a compact 18 V orbital sander designed for versatile sanding of corners, edges and small surfaces. It features a 100 x 150 mm sanding plate, a 2.0 mm orbit diameter and a brushless motor that delivers efficient performance and consistent results while remaining lightweight at approximately 1.1 kg. The tool offers variable speed control up to 10,000 RPM and can be used with the included textile dust bag or connected to an external vacuum via an optional coupling bush (630798000).

Advantages

Low overall height and a flat profile allow comfortable guidance close to the work surface, while smooth-running operation reduces vibration for steadier sanding. The non-slip soft-grip area improves handling and control. The brushless Metabo motor provides high efficiency and sustained power in continuous operation. A removable protector shields adjacent surfaces and extends the life of the sanding plate. An attachment point for a safety strap enables safer use at heights.

Suitable for

• Sanding corners and edges on furniture and trim
• Finishing small flat surfaces and panels
• Preparation of surfaces before painting or varnishing
• Light to medium material removal on wood and composites

How to use

Fit the correct abrasive sheet to the 100 x 150 mm sanding plate, switch the sander on and set the speed according to the material being worked. Guide the tool with light pressure, keeping it flat to maintain even contact with the surface. Empty the textile dust bag regularly or connect the sander to an all-purpose vacuum using the coupling bush 630798000 for continuous dust extraction. Remove the protector when full contact with edges or the full sanding plate is required.

Recommendations

Use progressively finer grits to achieve a smooth finish, adjust the variable speed for different materials, and secure the tool with a safety strap when working at height. Regularly inspect and replace worn sanding plates and abrasive sheets to maintain performance.
