Extralink CAT6 FTP RJ45 konektor samec 8P8C konektor samec/samica transparentný

Extralink CAT6 FTP RJ45 Connector is a shielded plug for terminating Cat6 twisted-pair cables. The transparent 8P8C connector features eight gold-plated contacts and is compatible with standard RJ45 ports for creating reliable Ethernet connections in FTP (foil screened) cabling.

Advantages

The shielded design reduces electromagnetic interference in screened twisted-pair installations. Transparent housing allows visual inspection of wire alignment during termination. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance for stable long-term connections.

Suitable for

• Termination of Cat6 FTP (foiled) network cables
• Field or workshop assembly of RJ45 patch leads
• Creating or repairing Ethernet connections in LAN installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 (8P8C)
• Category: Cat6 (FTP — shielded foil twisted pair)
• Contacts: 8 gold-plated pins
• Housing: transparent
• Brand / MPN / EAN: Extralink / EX.11588 / 5903148911588

How to use

Strip the cable jacket and arrange the individual conductors according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert wires fully into the connector so each conductor seats under its contact and the foil drain/blanket is engaged with the shield if present. Use a proper crimping tool for 8P8C connectors to secure the contact pins and housing. Verify continuity and correct pinout with a network cable tester after termination.

Recommendations

Use appropriate Cat6-rated cabling and a compatible crimp tool. Ensure the shield/foil is correctly connected to the connector shield to maintain overall screening. Test each terminated cable before putting it into service.
