FANTEC SRC-4240X07-6GE 24-Bay SAS/SATA expander backplane pre 3,5"/2,5" HDD/SSD 2564

Storage expander backplane engineered for high-density server environments, delivering 24 hot-swap drive bays with integrated SAS expansion and 6 Gbps per-channel throughput. This unit consolidates 24 SAS/SATA drives behind six SFF-8087 host connections, reducing cabling complexity while maintaining full bandwidth for demanding workloads.

Advantages

The integrated SAS expander enables a single HBA/RAID controller to manage all 24 drives, eliminating the need for multiple controllers. Hot-swap support allows drive replacement without downtime, and per-bay LED indicators provide instant status monitoring. Dual 4-pin Molex power inputs ensure stable power delivery across all bays, while SES-2 management enables enclosure-level monitoring and fault reporting.

Suitable for

• 4U rackmount servers and storage chassis requiring 24-drive capacity
• Enterprise NAS/SAN systems and backup servers
• Virtualization hosts needing large, scalable storage pools
• High-availability clusters where hot-swap serviceability is critical
