How to use

Measure the aperture or frame where the filter will be mounted and mark the sheet accordingly. Cut the sheet with scissors or a sharp blade on a flat surface, ensuring straight edges for proper seating in frames or holders. Insert the trimmed filter into the fixture's gel frame, clamp or holder, avoiding contact with hot lamp surfaces; maintain recommended safe distances specified by the luminaire manufacturer. For layered color effects, overlay multiple sheets, checking combined transmission before use. When installed, confirm even coverage of the fixture aperture to prevent light leaks.

Recommendations

Store the sheet flat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain color stability. Avoid exposing the filter to direct contact with high-temperature lamp elements; follow the luminaire's safety guidelines. Clean the sheet gently with a soft, dry cloth if needed and replace if creasing or discoloration affects light quality.
