Fellowes 225Mi skartovačka mikrostrihové skartovanie 24 cm čierna

The Fellowes 225Mi Micro-cut 24 cm Black is a heavy-duty paper shredder designed to provide high security document destruction for offices and small businesses. Featuring micro-cut shredding, this model reduces paper and other media into very small particles to protect sensitive information. It has a 240 mm working width and a large 60 L collection basket, enabling efficient handling of substantial volumes of documents while its compact footprint (435 x 450.9 x 781.1 mm) fits into typical office layouts. The unit also supports destruction of credit cards and CDs and comes in a black finish suitable for professional environments.

Advantages

The micro-cut shredding mechanism increases data security by producing much smaller particles than strip-cut or cross-cut shredders, making reconstruction of shredded documents considerably more difficult. A 240 mm working width accommodates standard paper sizes for batch shredding, while the 60 L basket reduces the need for frequent emptying during busy periods. Compatibility with credit cards and CDs adds versatility for mixed-media disposal. The product's compact dimensions and 40.82 kg weight offer a stable, office-suitable machine that balances capacity and space efficiency.

How to use

Place the shredder on a stable, level surface and ensure the collection basket is correctly positioned and empty before operation. Feed paper into the 240 mm working width slot without exceeding the manufacturer’s recommended sheet capacity for micro-cut shredding. Insert credit cards or CDs one at a time into the designated slot following the machine’s guidance. Monitor the basket level and stop the machine before removing the bin to avoid jams or spillage. Refer to any included user manual for specific safety instructions, electrical requirements, and maintenance intervals.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid shredding staples, large paper clips, or thick cardboard unless specified as acceptable by the manufacturer. Regularly check and empty the 60 L basket to prevent overfilling. Periodic maintenance such as oiling the cutting mechanism according to the user manual will help maintain micro-cut efficiency and prolong the shredder’s service life.
