How to use

Use the viewfinder to compose the scene and the simple controls to select the appropriate exposure setting if available or shoot in default point-and-shoot mode. After each exposure, advance the film manually until the next frame marker is reached. When the roll is finished, rewind the film following the camera’s rewind procedure and remove the cartridge for processing. The straightforward controls and fixed lens make the Kodak Ektar H35N suitable for quick operation on the street or while travelling.

Recommendations

For best results, choose film stocks that match your desired grain and color profile (ISO appropriate for lighting conditions). Store exposed film away from heat and humidity until processing. Carry spare rolls and a small light-tight pouch for safe transport; practice manual winding and framing on a few rolls to become comfortable with the camera’s rhythm and timing.
