Rittal SK 3237.300 is a compact outlet filter in a white plastic housing supplied as a single unit. The filter weighs approximately 120 g and is intended for use in electrical enclosures and compatible ventilation applications to provide particulate and airflow filtration by convection. Its low-profile design supports installation in constrained spaces and straightforward replacement during routine maintenance.

Advantages

The plastic housing offers lightweight durability and corrosion resistance suitable for indoor electrical enclosures. The compact dimensions and 120 g weight make handling and fitting simple, while the single-piece delivery ensures immediate usability for one location. Designed to be fitted in upper or lower enclosure sections for convection ventilation, the filter helps maintain airflow paths and reduce ingress of dust and particulates when installed according to enclosure specifications.

How to use

Install the outlet filter into the designated opening of the enclosure's upper or lower section according to the enclosure manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the filter seating is secure and that airflow direction corresponds to ventilation requirements. For replacement, remove the existing filter carefully, check the mounting area for debris or damage, and fit the new filter ensuring an even seal. No special tools are normally required, but follow any site-specific safety and lockout procedures before performing maintenance.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the filter for dust accumulation and replace it when airflow is noticeably reduced or at intervals recommended by the enclosure manufacturer. Use this filter in environments consistent with its plastic construction and indoor electrical equipment applications; avoid exposure to direct sunlight, high temperatures, or aggressive chemicals that could degrade the housing.
