FireWire kábel ShiverPeaks BS77203 3 m 6-pinový čierny

The ShiverPeaks BS77203 FireWire cable is a 3 m, 6-pin cable designed for devices that use the FireWire 400 standard (IEEE 1394 / IEEE 1394a). It provides a reliable physical connection between cameras, external hard drives, audio interfaces and other FireWire-capable peripherals, offering stable data transfer over a flexible, medium-length cord suitable for studio and mobile setups.

Advantages

This FireWire cable features 6-pin connectors on both ends for full data and power transmission where supported, reducing the need for separate power adapters for certain devices. Its 3 meter length balances reach and signal integrity, allowing convenient placement of equipment without excessive cable slack. The cable is built for durability with reinforced connector housings to withstand repeated plugging and unplugging in professional and home environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting digital video cameras and camcorders to computers or recorders
• Linking external hard drives and RAID enclosures that support FireWire 400
• Connecting audio interfaces, mixers, and other studio equipment with FireWire ports
• Extending reach between FireWire peripherals in desktop or mobile studios

Key specifications

• Length: 3 meters
• Connector type: 6-pin FireWire on both ends
• Supported standard: FireWire 400 (IEEE 1394 / IEEE 1394a)
• Data transfer: high-speed IEEE 1394 signaling suitable for multimedia and storage devices
• Color: black

How to use

Ensure both devices have compatible 6-pin FireWire ports before connecting. Align each 6-pin connector with the port and insert until it seats securely; do not force the connector if it does not fit smoothly. If the connected device can draw power from the FireWire bus, it may power up without an additional adapter. When disconnecting, grip the connector housing rather than pulling the cable to avoid strain on the conductor and connector. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electromagnetic interference to maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

Use the ShiverPeaks 3 m FireWire cable in environments where FireWire 400 performance is required. For longer runs or mixed-standard setups, consider FireWire repeaters or adapters that match device specifications. Store the cable coiled loosely and avoid tight knots to prolong service life.
