FireWire kábel ShiverPeaks BS77205 5 m 6-pinový čierny

The ShiverPeaks BS77205 FireWire cable is a 5 m, 6-pin to 6-pin cable designed for devices that use the FireWire 400 (IEEE 1394/IEEE 1394a) interface. It provides a reliable physical link for data transfer between compatible equipment such as digital video cameras, external hard drives and audio interfaces, offering adequate length for studio setups, desktop arrangements or mobile workstations.

Advantages

This FireWire cable supports the IEEE 1394/1394a protocol to enable sustained high-speed data transfer over a 5 meter span. The dual 6-pin connectors allow both data and power transmission where supported by the connected devices. Its construction is intended for consistent electrical contact and reduced signal loss across longer runs compared with shorter consumer cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting digital video cameras to recorders or computers for audio/video capture
• Linking external FireWire hard drives for backups and media storage
• Connecting audio interfaces and MIDI controllers that use FireWire
• Home studios, post-production workstations, and live capture setups requiring a 5 m cable

Key specifications

• Interface standard: FireWire 400 (IEEE 1394 / IEEE 1394a)
• Connector type: 6-pin to 6-pin
• Cable length: 5 meters
• Cable color: black
• Supported functions: data transfer and device power (when supported by devices)

How to use

Connect one 6-pin connector to the FireWire port on the source device (for example a camera or external drive) and the other 6-pin connector to the target device (computer, recorder or interface). Ensure both devices are powered off when plugging in or unplugging to avoid potential port damage. After connection, power on the devices and confirm the host system recognizes the attached FireWire device; install any necessary drivers or software according to the device manufacturer’s instructions.

Recommendations

Avoid tightly coiling the cable or placing heavy objects on it. For reliable operation over the full 5 m length, use shielded routing away from strong electromagnetic sources and verify that both devices support FireWire 400 for best compatibility.
