Fischer skrutka 670457, 100 mm

FISCHER 670457 screw is a stainless steel wood screw designed for secure fastening in a variety of wood applications. The screw measures 100 mm in total length with a 6 mm thread diameter and a 60 mm thread length, providing deep engagement and reliable hold in solid and engineered timber. Packaged in sets of 100 pieces, these screws are suited to larger carpentry and construction tasks where corrosion resistance and consistent performance are required.

Advantages

Made from stainless steel, the screw resists corrosion and is suitable for interior and exterior wood projects. The 6 mm thread diameter combined with a 60 mm threaded portion ensures strong pull-out resistance and stable connections between wooden elements. The consistent dimensions and quality manufacturing reduce the risk of stripping and provide repeatable torque behavior during installation. Supplied in a larger pack, the product supports efficient work on medium to large-scale installations.

Suitable for

• Wood-to-wood structural connections
• Fence and decking installation
• Timber framing and carpentry
• Outdoor wooden constructions where corrosion resistance is needed

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel
• Total length: 100 mm
• Thread diameter: 6 mm
• Thread length: 60 mm
• Pack quantity: 100 pieces

How to use

Pre-drill guide holes appropriate to the wood species and screw diameter when necessary to prevent splitting, especially near edges or in hardwoods. Select a driver bit that matches the screw head profile to ensure secure engagement and minimize cam-out. Drive the screw straight into the assembled parts until the head is flush or slightly countersunk according to the application. For repetitive installation, use a power screwdriver or drill with adjustable torque to maintain consistent seating without over-tightening.

Recommendations

For best results, match pilot hole diameter to the screw core for the specific wood type; reduce installation torque for thin or brittle materials. When used outdoors, verify compatible coatings or complementary materials to avoid galvanic corrosion. Store screws in a dry place to maintain condition before use.
