Why choose it

This shoe is made for hikers who want to cover ground quickly without being weighed down. The GORE-TEX membrane keeps water out while allowing heat and moisture to escape, so your feet stay comfortable even during high-output climbs. The ADD® fit system wraps the foot securely, reducing slippage and hot spots, while the Ortholite® footbed adds step-in comfort that lasts all day. The dual-density EVA midsole balances cushioning and responsiveness, and the GTF Magnet outsole offers dependable traction on rock, dirt, and wet surfaces.

Ideal use cases

• Fast hiking and speed trekking on maintained trails
• Light trekking with a daypack
• Everyday outdoor wear in wet or changeable weather
• Travel and multi-day hut-to-hut routes where low weight matters

Good to know

Garmont recommends sizing up half a size if you plan to wear thicker hiking socks. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane is specifically designed for moderate to warm conditions and higher activity levels, making it a great choice for spring, summer, and early autumn hikes. To prolong the life of the waterproofing, clean the shoes regularly and reapply a suitable DWR treatment when water stops beading on the upper.
