Gender changer adaptér DELOCK D-Sub 9-pinový na D-Sub 25-pinový 66983, pozlátené kontakty, oranžový/strieborný

DELOCK 66983 gender changer adapter converts a D-Sub 9‑pin connector to a D-Sub 25‑pin connector, enabling connection between devices with different D-Sub pin counts. The adapter is intended for use in serial and RS‑232 compatible cable connections and similar applications where a compact, reliable pin conversion is required. The housing is finished in orange and silver and the contacts are gold‑plated to improve conductivity and reduce corrosion.

Advantages

The adapter provides a straightforward mechanical conversion between 9‑pin and 25‑pin D‑Sub interfaces without altering signal wiring. Gold‑plated contacts enhance electrical contact quality and reduce the risk of oxidation over time. Its compact form factor and secure D‑Sub mating maintain stable connections in confined spaces and standard serial setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting serial RS‑232 devices with 9‑pin and 25‑pin D‑Sub ports
• Linking printers, modems and legacy computers with mismatched D‑Sub connectors
• Temporary or permanent cabling adaptations in industrial and office environments

Key specifications

• Connector conversion: female/male D‑Sub 9‑pin to D‑Sub 25‑pin
• Contact plating: gold‑plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing finish: orange and silver exterior
• Form factor: narrow adapter suitable for tight mounting spaces

How to use

Align the adapter with the corresponding D‑Sub connectors on the cable or device and push gently until the connectors seat fully. If applicable, secure the D‑Sub thumbscrews or fastening hardware to ensure a stable mechanical connection. Use the adapter in environments and setups compatible with RS‑232 or other D‑Sub signal standards without modifying signal wiring; verify pinouts of connected devices when working with non‑standard implementations.

Recommendations

Prefer indoor, dry environments and avoid exposing the adapter to excessive mechanical stress or corrosive atmospheres. Check compatibility of signal levels and pinouts before use when connecting non‑standard equipment.
