Goobay 95887 sieťový kábel svetlohnedý 5 m Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 zlatý

The Goobay 95887 Networking Cable Light Brown 5 m Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 Gold is a 5-metre Cat6 network cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office environments. The cable uses U/UTP construction and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure consistent contact and reduced corrosion. Its light brown jacket and flat profile allow the cable to be routed unobtrusively along skirting boards, under carpets or beside flooring where space is limited.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports high-speed network connections and provides stable signal transmission thanks to high-quality inner conductors and a robust outer sheath. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and reduce the risk of oxidation over time. The flat cable profile makes installation simpler in tight spaces and helps keep interior cabling discreet. The neutral light brown colour blends with many interiors for a less visible cable run.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, routers and switches in home networks
• Wired connections for small office setups and workstations
• Routing behind skirting boards, under carpets or along floors where a flat cable is advantageous
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet links for media players, smart TVs and network printers

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Cable category: Cat6
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded pairs, overall unshielded)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: Gold-plated connector contacts
• Colour: Light brown
• Profile: Flat cable for low-profile installation

How to use

Uncoil the cable and route it along the desired path, keeping bends gentle to avoid stress on the conductor pairs. Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding Ethernet port until it clicks. For runs under carpets or along skirting boards, press the flat cable into place so it sits flush with the surface. Ensure cable length and routing do not block ventilation or create trip hazards, and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for best signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the Goobay 5 m Cat6 cable for connections up to 5 metres without intermediate joins. Avoid sharp kinks and do not over-tighten cable clips. When integrating into structured cabling, keep separation from electrical wiring and use appropriate strain relief at connector ends.
