GoodConnections Cat. 6 S/FTP patch kábel s odľahčením ťahu, 5m, oranžový

Most patch cables rely on a simple plastic boot that barely shields the locking tab, leaving it vulnerable to snags and accidental breakage. The GoodConnections 8060-050O takes a different approach: a dedicated latch protection mechanism that fully guards the RJ45 connector, so you can pull cables through tight conduits and crowded patch panels without worrying about snapped clips. This 5-metre orange cable is built around Cat. 6 S/FTP construction, where each twisted pair is individually wrapped in metal foil (PiMF) and the entire bundle is enclosed in an overall braided shield. That double shielding blocks electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, making it a reliable choice for offices, server rooms, and industrial environments where signal integrity matters.

Highlights

• Cat. 6 performance with 250 MHz bandwidth, supporting Gigabit Ethernet up to 1 Gbps.
• S/FTP shielding: overall braided shield plus individual foil around each pair (PiMF) for superior noise rejection.
• Snagless latch protection prevents the RJ45 locking tab from breaking or catching during installation.
• Stranded copper conductors and PVC jacket offer flexibility and durability for frequent moves and bends.
• PoE support allows the same cable to carry power and data to IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones.

In daily use

At 5 metres, this cable bridges the gap between a wall outlet and a workstation, or between a switch and a patch panel in a rack. The orange jacket makes it easy to identify among a sea of grey and blue cables, which is handy when tracing connections. The latch protection is not just a cosmetic addition: it prevents the tab from being pressed down accidentally when pulling the cable through a bundle, so the connector stays firmly seated. Because the cable is stranded rather than solid, it tolerates repeated bending and coiling without performance loss, making it suitable for temporary setups or permanent installations alike. The PVC jacket is tough enough for everyday handling yet remains pliable enough to route around corners.
