USB Type-C hub Alcasa HUB-C002A 5000 Mbit/s HDMI USB 3.0

The Alcasa HUB-C002A is a compact USB Type-C hub from Good Connections designed to expand connectivity for laptops, tablets and smartphones with a USB Type-C host interface. The hub provides HDMI output and USB 3.0 data ports, supporting data transfer speeds up to 5000 Mbit/s and video output up to 3860 x 2160 at 30 Hz. Its anthracite housing measures 22 mm x 22 mm x 16 mm and weighs 38 g, making it suitable for mobile use and easy storage in laptop bags or pockets.

Advantages

The hub combines multiple interfaces — USB Type-C, USB 3.0 and HDMI — in a small form factor to add external displays and high-speed data connections without adding significant bulk. Support for 5000 Mbit/s transfer speeds ensures fast file transfers when using compatible USB 3.0 devices. Native HDMI video output at up to 3860 x 2160 @ 30 Hz enables connection to external monitors and projectors for extended or mirrored displays. The lightweight and compact design supports portability and simple cable management.

How to use

Plug the Alcasa HUB-C002A into a device with a USB Type-C host interface, then connect an HDMI cable to an external display and a USB 3.0 device to the USB port as required. The hub is typically plug-and-play with modern operating systems; external displays may require selection of the correct input on the monitor and configuration of display settings in the host device's system preferences. For optimal performance, use high-quality HDMI and USB cables and ensure connected devices support the specified transfer speeds and video resolutions.

Recommendations

Place the hub on a stable surface and avoid excessive bending of the integrated connector or cables. To maintain the advertised data transfer speeds and video quality, connect compatible USB 3.0 peripherals and use HDMI cables rated for the required resolution. If video output does not appear immediately, check host device display settings and update drivers or firmware if necessary.
