Good Connections aktívny USB 2.0 predlžovací kábel, Type-A konektor samec na Type-A konektor samica, meď, čierna, 15 m (GC-M0133)

In a busy office, a network printer sits far from the workstation, and a standard USB cable can't reach. This 15-meter active USB 2.0 extension cable solves that problem, connecting your computer to the printer without signal loss. It's also ideal for webcams in conference rooms, external drives in server corners, or any USB device that needs to be placed well beyond the usual 5-meter limit.

Key specifications

• USB 2.0 active extension cable with integrated repeater chipset for reliable signal amplification over long distances
• Connectors: USB Type-A male to USB Type-A female
• Length: 15 meters (49.2 ft)
• Data transfer rate: up to 480 Mbps (High-Speed), backward compatible with USB 1.1
• Conductor material: pure copper (CU) for optimal conductivity
• Double shielding (foil and braid) reduces electromagnetic interference
• Nickel-plated contacts resist corrosion and ensure a stable connection
• Bus-powered – no external power adapter needed, draws power directly from the USB port
• Plug and play: no drivers required, works with Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS
• Durable black PVC jacket protects against wear and tear

Why choose it

Standard passive USB cables lose signal after 5 meters, but this active cable regenerates the signal, maintaining full USB 2.0 speed even at 15 meters. The copper conductors and double shielding guarantee a clean, stable connection for data-intensive devices. It's a cost-effective way to extend your USB peripherals without buying new equipment.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting a printer or scanner in a large office or workshop
• Positioning a webcam or security camera far from the computer
• Extending a keyboard, mouse, or game controller to a distant display
• Accessing an external hard drive or USB hub from a server rack
• Reaching a USB device in a hard-to-access location, such as behind a desk or in a kiosk

Good to know

The cable is bus-powered, so it draws up to 500mA from the USB port – enough for most low-power devices. For high-power peripherals, consider an active cable with external power. The nickel-plated connectors and robust PVC jacket ensure long-term reliability even in demanding environments.
