Gorenje FN4172CW is an upright freezer with a net capacity of 186 litres designed for household and small commercial use. The appliance uses No Frost technology to prevent ice build-up, maintaining even temperature distribution without the need for manual defrosting. With climate class N‑ST and energy efficiency class E, this freezer balances capacity and consumption while delivering quiet operation at 41 dB. The grey cabinet has a right-hinged door and compact footprint, with dimensions 1691×550×557 mm and a weight of 54 kg.

Advantages

The No Frost system eliminates the formation of frost and ice, reducing maintenance and preserving storage space. A 186 L net capacity offers multiple compartments for organised freezing of groceries. Rated energy efficiency class E with an annual consumption of 219 kWh provides predictable operating costs. A low noise level of 41 dB and noise emission class C make the unit suitable for kitchens and utility rooms where quiet operation is required. Built for reliable food preservation, the freezer maintains stored items for up to 11 hours in case of a power failure.

How to use

Place the freezer on a level surface with adequate clearance for ventilation according to the installation instructions. Connect the appliance to a properly grounded electrical outlet and allow it to run empty until it reaches the operating temperature before loading food. Organise items in the interior compartments to allow air circulation; avoid blocking vent openings. Store food in sealed, freezer-suitable packaging and label items with dates. In the event of a power interruption, the freezer can keep contents frozen for up to 11 hours if the door remains closed.

Recommendations

For stable performance and efficient use, keep the door closed as much as possible, defrost no longer necessary thanks to No Frost, and perform periodic checks of door seals and ventilation gaps. Allow warm food to cool before freezing to reduce compressor workload and extend the lifespan of the appliance.
